Flash 9 errors

I first tried FPP about month ago or so and I think it all the samples worked then but not sure. Anyways, now I am going through the examples folder & some are working but some are giving me errors in flash 9. Also some I was looking at in the showcase are also showing errors but some do not.

For example when I look at the externalTest.html file I get an actionscript error:
SecurityError: Error #2060: Security sandbox violation: ExternalInterface caller file:///I:/my download files/FlashPanoPlayerOrigfiles/examples/files/hotspots.swf cannot access file:///I:/my download files/FlashPanoPlayerOrigfiles/examples/externalTest.html.

Any ideas on what I need to update or did I change a security setting?

It is happening in both IE & FF on WinXP.
