Dear friends,

We are currently working on a project with 400+ QTVRs and since movDecoder2 came out with FPP v2.2 it has changed our lives :) Yet, since 90% of our material came out in .mov output we are now facing a problem maintaining our camera settings (Pan, Tilt , Zoom ) that were defined in the .mov file. These do not seem to be preserved when we use the movDecoder2 plugin, which always opens the panorama at the center of the panoramic photo, regardless of the .mov file settings.

Is there a way of getting camera settings from our .mov files using the movDecoder plugin or some other technique and thus open the flash panorama at the same camera position with the .mov file? Otherwise, the only option we see is to make a custom xml file for each flash-panorama and re-enter these settings manually using the corresponding parameters. Obviously, we want to avoid this.

Best regards

Since that information is in the QTVR file, it should (in theory) be possible for MovieDecoder2 to be upgraded so as to make it available.

I have the same problem. Since an automated solution is not yet available, here's an easier manual one.

I use the Devalvr stand-alone viewer. Just toggle the "view camera info";
tilt is as is, pan you have to do the opposite (if positive, change to negative and vise versa), ignore the fov, zoom is as is.

Hope this helps.
