Hello everybody.
Can anybody tell me where I can read about the difference in the "stitching settings" in Pano2Qtvr? I can't figure out what the difference is between for instance Spline36 and Sinc1024. I would like to learn how to determine the best setting.
Is there one setting that is generally better the the rest? Or will it be different from pano to pano?
Best regards
Morten

Morton,
Those are interpolation algorithms, not stitching. The recommended methods are Mitchell or Lanczos 3, although Mitchell may have a little more support. These will produce slightly sharper results than any of the others but will also increase processing time. I believe you will find Spline64 third best with less hit on processing time. Personally I'm not sure why other methods are even still included. For my finish work I use Mitchell.
As with other Pano3QTVR support issues you will the support forums (gardengnome.com) very useful and helpful.

Hi Scott
Thanks for the explanation. I also just read the other thread about the same topic. I will be doing some testing of my own the next couple of weeks when I find the time. But so far, I have the same experience as jaaab. I do not see a huge difference.
Once again thanks for replying.
Best regards
Morten
