hotspots missing in MSIE

I read that there were bugs in IE, and I think I found one. My hotspots that I use for navigation don't show up in MSIE 6.0.28 unless I resize the window. I saw that others in the forums did some sort of refresh. I'm going to guess that this was done in javascript. Doesn't a refresh cause the page to load again? Did anyone find a better way to work around this bug?

There should be no bugs in cause of the browser as Flash is a portable platform.
