controller-externalTest... the FUSION!!!

Hi hi hi!!!
i had an idea... i'm not a developer, and dont know flash.... so i'm asking if this is posible and in case it is, haow can it be done...

here it is..... prrrrr chan!!!!

use the externaltest.swf properties to have an external conection with the panorama, and add the controller.swf properties to jump from a pano to an other.
So, we can design external maps connected to the pano... that way we can do Virtual Tours with maps, with no need of loading a new page for the pano clicked in the map.... with this combo pano+map conected , you can surf the tour on the same page!!!
maybe it's allready thought and done... if anybody know how to do that, pleaaasssseeee!!!!! tell me....

Can't you do this with a static hotspot displaying an image of the map and all the hotspot loadpano links positioned on top of it?

yes! it would be an option, but youґr still working inside the pano...
this pano+map working separatly means less programing work on the xml file, and full flash posibilities on the map... it may has all that interactions you want.

i donґt know you, but i think this would be perfect!

You can already do that kind of map using embedPano example, but the map you'll obtain will be place outside the pano, not inside...

yes, that is an other option... but he pano and the map are at the same flash movie... and as far as we got, we could not make the fullscreen works... all the movie goes to fullscreen.

I still think separate pano and map conected is a great idea... at least for what I need.

any other opinion? helpї?

So!!!
i could do something with the external test file...
there was a tutorial i missed up to read: hotspot_EI_API
there, it shows three diferent actions we can do with externaltest.fla:
panoSet
panoGet
panoExecute

Use panoExecute to load a new pano images the same way as the xml code....
The problem is that it cannot load new swf... but, with the cubefaces it is ok for now...

the next step is to design a map and add buttons with these codes to call new panorama images from outside the pano...

The way i started this thread was completly wrong... the controller file has nothing to do here.

well... any ideas?
