Box/Spot: Loading SWFs, errors and slow execution

Hey there:

I was trying to load in a SWF as a -box- or -spot-, and no matter what I do I get errors or slow execution...

I tried to use _lockroot, but that isn't supported in AS3... do I need to set a Stage property (ie, noScale) in my external swf?

Also, SWFs I bring in as a -box- aren't distorting properly...

Yikes, I'm having issues! Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing or not doing?

...This is a bit frustrating!

Recently I upgraded to the latest Flash application, and am outputting Flash 9 / AS3 swf files. The test link above simply loads a SWF which has a text box in it. All the text bx does is show the current pan value.

I receive show-stopping errors on Mac, and on Windows I have reports that the Flash plugin is using ~500,000K memory.

If anyone has any insight or similar experience, please let me know...
