This has been discussed at length in the Flash Panorama Player forum but I'm thinking it should be added here as a request for a future release.

It would be great to have a FPP sound player as an FLA file that could be used for single or multiple soundtracks or narration for panoramas or more complex tours. This could be as an FLV movie or a layer plugin (or both) with an option for directional sound and multiple sound files from an XML playlist.

Ideally the player would allow manual selections from hotspots or drop-down menu or automatic loading and playback corresponding with the panoramas. Short sounds for buttons or animated menus might also be built in unless there's a better way for these to work with hotspots.

I have looked at the third party players available but there are none that I have found that perform consistently on more than one panorama in a project apart from the FLV solution.

The best suggestion fror a 3rd party player seemed to be:

works great for one file but I found that if you call it a second time it displays across the entire movie area and stops working.

Hope you can find the time to add something in the next release Denis. Thanks for all the great features you have added so far!

I totally agree with Neil. Maybe I'm just too stupid to get this to work, but I could not get the included "mp3player.swf" to work in any way. I mean, it displays the volume bar in the lower left corner, but no sound is played. Also I did not get along with any of the other suggested 3rd party players (I also was not successful to get one of the to play at least a single MP3 file). So I would love to see a simple, usable MP3-player-plugin that can be loaded using "layer" in the XML and configured within the <parameters>. Or, if this is already possible with the included mp3player.swf, I'd appreciate a short tutorial on how to get it to work :-)

Thanks in advance, and thanks for this great player, Denis!
