Hi,

I have problem with loading of panoramas, which I published with FPP. My computer is slowing down and very often dosent show any reaction every time I am trying to load a panoramic picture (online or offline). I get often a information "not enough virtual memory" Improtant is a information, that other panoramic pictures published also with FPP (but from other panorama-creators) are running on my computer without any problems. So I think I make some mistakes. My machine has 512 MB RAM and processor 1,2 giga core duo. I think it is enough for comfortable using of FPP. I tested cube faces, sferical pictures and mov files. And every time the same problem. Stronger computers with 2 or 1 giga ram are ok. But 512 should be also enough? A I using following xml-parameters:

<?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'utf-8'?>
<panorama>
<parameters>
panoType = mov
layer_1 = movDecoder.swf
layer_2 = limits.swf
layer_3 = autorotator.swf
layer_5 = glassMeter.swf
tiltHome=-5
panHome=250
zoomHome=0.5
zoommin=0.3
zoommax=0.8
qualitystatic=low
loaderBackColor=#282828
loaderStreamed=0
loaderconsecutive=1
segments=25
</parameters>
<autorotator>
speed = -0.1
interval = 30
pause = 500
quality = low
</autorotator>
</panorama>

And following links for my panoramas, which are running and loading very slowly, if the computer have 512 mb ram:

Thanks for any instructions

512mb Ram and a 1.2 Ghz processor is very little for flashpanoramas. I assume you are using Windows XP. Vista will not run at all I guess on that configuration.
You can probably load single panoramas but if you make a tour with several panoramas Internet Explorer will accumulate memory use and fail to load after a couple of panos.
Especially if you have the old Explorer 6.
And especially if you use the movdecoder. Use cubefaces instead and do not use more than 1600x1600 pixels cubefaces.

Your movies are 1900x1900 and they use 360 mb ram to just run one. That gives very little left for the system and ev other running applications.
Mov-decoder uses a lot of memory while loading as it has to extract the cubefaces.

Your movies also seems to have some bug as they perform bad also in Quicktime. What did you use to create them.?

You should also update your pano.swf to the flash 10 version. Read Denis post in the blog on how to do that.
