do you mean right button?
if yes you have to contact Dennis about that
it in the licence that you can not remove it without prior agreement with him
edit:
5. You may not remove (cover, change, disable) the "About Flash Panorama
Player" item with a link to flashpanoramas.com website in the Flash
context menu without the written permission of Flash Panorama Player's
author (contact here: flashpanoramas@gmail.com to discuss it).

Thank you so much for your responses.
I just lost 50 per cent of a job, because one competitor went to my client and told him he could do THE SAME JOB as me for less money.
It took so long to get to this solution, i tested almost 30 different software, and so so so many panoramas techniques, as to chose this one, that was for me , something as to invest my time as it seemed to be developed time to time.
I wish i could have had the option to buy a licensed option.
For Denys, its just one software sales, but for me, it was a half a year contract i lost, because this competitor, had no remorse at finding his own path of learning and choosing, and now I feel so deceived and sad.
Also, the contract was for a government institution, a cultural one, and so, I think it should be as neutral as possible.
Am I wrong?
Now I am maybe shifting to a new panorama player, and have to change all the past ones to those

I don't think it is fair of you at all to try and put the blame on Denis or anyone else for that matter. You asked your question on the 18th of this month, and only one hour and 36 minutes later, LepLep had given you the answer you needed.
Nowhere did you indicate this to be an emergency request. If you had stated this to be extremely urgent, I, or others would have recommended you to contact Freddy "Discocandy" the moderator, who could have gotten you in contact with Denis more quickly.
I am sorry you lost your potential contract, but that is what can - and does - happen. There are people out there with cheaper solutions, worse quality etc. If you go with FPP, you have the best tool for any assignment, and with the right add-on to FPP, you can do your jobs faster and better than any other panorama software can manage.
In this life of ours, WE have the responsibility for our own actions. In this case, you assumed too much, and didn't follow up porperly. Don't blame others for that.
If you are not giving up on FPP already, you can still contact Freddy and get a faster contact with Denis.

Yes you are wrong.
You say you lost the job because someone did it for less money.
What in all the world does that has to do with a line in the right click menu saying that you use Flashpanoramas player.
Would you have blamed Apple because you see a Quicktime logo when loading a QTVR.
Sell you product based on what you do, and do that in superior quality.

Sry. Every pro knows the common "software/players" for internet panoramas and to know which player is in use shldnґt take more than just seconds. At least there are only 3 or 5 products that is worth to have an eye on it currently. To be updated is a part of that business.

for the record. I responded to a messege from tcoursey.
Hello, I have been directed to you for your help in getting in contact with the developer of FPP. We are in search of licensing that will allow us to legally remove the right click menu "About Flash Panorama Player" link. We are in a tricky competitive area and wish to remove the right click menu link. We are willing to consider additional licensing fees associated with such a request depending on the amount. Any information you can give me regarding this would be helpful. We have emailed the gmail account of the developer numerous times withint the last few weeks without any contact. You are our last effort!
He had a private mail from me where I told him the answer was no ATM for the right click menu.
He had to wait till version 3.
Do not know if that is the same company. but I thought ATM that it was the same. if not? why don't you ask me like everyone around here?

It was your price and your work quality that lost you that contract. If someone came in and offered the same/better quality at a lessor cost then you should work on your product and reevaluate your pricing. I can't imagine a scenario where pano player being revealed would cost you a contract. You have one of the best players on the market, that much you can be sure of. I would worry about the other factors that go into making your product superior.
Best of luck,

I dont know why your responses are so negative. I lost the contract because the competitors are so close and offering at less quality a product that i wish it was more close. My plus was to handle a new technology, that is part of what you offer as a vendor.
I had to research, to learn and to handle a new tool, and for what I wanted was to erase something that for me, is like a watermark, and i would had paid the difference for that, I think that is fair.
For the other, he had just to copy my research and to offer a lower price
I dont know how you do your living, but being a freelancer in a 3 world is a serious problem, and I dont want to bother you more with my problems, also to be a woman in this competitive world is very complicated.
I feel like in another planet, have a good day, and yes, I emailed Denys, and havent got a response yet, to think that I have to change all my past panoramas to a new technique, makes me dizzy.
Do I still have another option?
Thanks

I don't see any of us being "negative". We are only making the case that it is futile to try and put the blame onto others who clearly had no finger in the case of you losing a bid to your competition.
You have joined these forums 8 months ago, and I would expect you to know the basics of how things work in terms of contacting Denis, since the issue comes up quite frequently, and is responded to every time.
None of us responding here are the vendors of FPP. We are simply other users, trying to help those who need help.
For the future, when you make an offer to a client... be that government institution or private company, you should have the people whom you interact with, to sign a contract of non-disclosure, covering your prices and offered features for the project. If the contract is breached, you can always use a lawyer against them... if you can prove their wrongdoing.
FPP is truly the best Flash Panorama Player available, and you can do top notch professional projects in a few minutes, or during weeks/months.... all depending on how you choose to workflow to be.
Especially in third world countries, where competition can be really nasty, it is of great importance that you can finish your works in a few minutes, rather than having to spend hours or days. Time is money, and money is not what companies in 3rd world countries are very willing to pay. So if you have competitors who offer lower price AND lower quality, because they use inferior software, you can at least offer the same price and HIGHER quality, if you can finish your projects in minutes, compared to the competition using hours and days on the projects.
Only FPP+FFC can give you that quick workflow and quality.
Being a woman in certain 3rd world countries - and many industrialized - pre-resessionized 1st world countries, do have a much harder time than their male competition. That is the sad truth of the "everyone is equal" propaganda we are supposed to believe to be the truth.
My advice: Focus on offering QUALITY to your clients. Even if you have to go down in price, you can justify the price by putting much less work into the projects by using the right tools.
Be prepared for your works, knowing the software you want to use, BEFORE you offer your services. Otherwise it may be a very costly mistake you might be committing yourself to.
Having lost a potential client... you will be better prepared next time. Both work-flow related, and in terms of handling the "competition".
Quality is what keeps businesses alive. Without quality in either product or service... or preferably BOTH, the business will never survive for long. Make sure you have the quality.

I am going to respond you .
I dont know about the problems contacting Denys, I just know the technical stuff, as it has being so demanding my deadlines, etc, I try to make it with the best possible quality
to sign a contract of non-disclosure? This has no sense, just by showing the right click trade is showing them how I did it, we are having right now a 4000 people daily at our portal so, I am indirectly publiciting flashpano , and I have doubts about this things , so that is why I posted here, looking for understanding, and all i had was a very harse response from people that actually didnt write the program
time is money, and the time I spent using and testing other software programs before offering my work , was several months, and there was no way for me to test this little thing, the trademark. If I knew about it, I would have chosen other program

You dont know how much this is truth, I could write a book about this
I am trying to offer creativity, like inviting musicians to put their original music into the panos, etc, anyway, I feel so pressured by time, learning curves, etc

Deadlines and learning curves can easily become your worst enemy in business. Some of my clients who had given up on using FPP due to the required learning curve, were able to produce complete tours within the first couple of hours using the full version of Flashificator.
If you don't know what it is or what it does or what it can do for you, you can have a look at the following video and see how a tour is created using a template. Hotspot images in the template are replaced quickly and without the need to do anything strange. Cube faces from the desired tours are dropped into the hotspots. This can be done in seconds, and more easy ways of producing tours IS available in the program.
Here it is:
http://flashificator.com/1/Phase3/TemplateTourDemo/TemplateTourDemo.html
If you don't have the time to become a coder, or to learn all the tricks of FPP's code related issues, Flashificator might be your best friend. Some people have all the time in the world to learn and practice hand coding and copy paste their works, and that's fine... for them. I prefer to make things faster and easier.
What about you?

oK,I believe you have to go all the way through technology as then to push the design into it,,,like flashificator does templates, and that is something my competitors would easily compete with me,,,I tried to use flash galleries into the panos, interactive little details, and original music. That consumes a lot of time, not into designing, but gathering the info, etc, but makes something a little bit more original.
Right now i am working with a programmer as him to design a interactive screen in which the panos could be more alive, triggered with a remote control, and we finished last night, now I have the problem of the trade mark for the panos, really, could anyone help me contacting Denys?
My deadline for this is less than 12 days, for about 20 sites, that contain 10 panos each. And for me, its showing a watermark, and I just feel its not professional for a place like a museum

Hi,
First I'm sorry you lost your contract, I hate it when it happens, but beleive me it does and will happen all the time.
In my country we have the same problem, the average client only cares about the final price and ignores the quality and originality factors when analising a proposal.
What we usualy do is provide samples of old work, printed layout proposals ALLWAYS with our logo, date and copyright statements, this way even if a competitor comes along and promises to do the same job for less, they can't do it the way we proposed because it's copyrighted ;) and usualy Goverment agencies don't want to be involved in that kind of disputes ;) all we have to do is remind them that our proposed layout has reserved rights.
This doesn't stops it from happening, but atleast we have a legal way to fight back ;)
Another thing we do is as soon as the client agrees with a proposal we sign an agreement that has a project cancelation clause.
But the bottom line is FPP context menu line isn't to blame about this situation, you just have to offer something your competition doesn't offer, be it image quality, speed, originality, costum interfaces, original soundtrack, payment condition etc etc just don't give up we are here all to help :)

This is the very thought which will lead you closer to failure, concentrate on what "you" can do with FPP.

I have to say that I find your idea of blaming the fact that your client or competitor can see that you have used FPP to be ridiculous.
It's the same as if your competitors can read the Exif data on your images and see that you are using a Nikon D3s would help him to beat you and create better quality and sell it cheaper.
Please FPP is just a tool like your camera or your computer.
You may impress your client with an Expensive Camera or showing up with a MacBook Pro 17 and show him that you are designing your site with the best flashplayer available.
But the fact that your competitor easy with or without seeing it in the right click menu can see that you are using FPP does not help him to beat you.
