Hi,
I have been playing around with a plugin that I call moviebox. But as I'm not a tour builder, I'm not sure what what features you would like to see in such a plugin (or if it is of any interest at all).
I have a test page here (http://wirestam.com/panos/Flash/moviebox/mbtest.html).
It shows a "program" with 5 short films (well, the fifth is a full time favourite of mine). You can, among other things, set the number of repetitions, pause length, masks, overlays, movie click action and tooltip (if you have the usual tooltip plugin). I have started on a description page (http://wirestam.com/panos/Flash/plugins/moviebox.html).
On this test page I also use a small volume control plugin that is not completed yet.
Opinions are welcome.

On a second thought... that's not an opinion, but an established FACT.

Yep, he is a crazy genius.
link to moviebox.zip seems to be broken.
Can this be used as a distorted hotspot like the flvplayer ?
Thanks again for sharing this.

Having a movie controller in FPP would be fantastic.
Here is a player I use for regular video work.
It would be great to be able to have a menu
to sort through multiple videos.

Can you say "Flashificator" ?
It's been there for almost a year, but others are of course welcome to try and copy-cat the original concept :)

Yes Tommy,
you are a genius! Thank you, also for me is good idea if can this be used as a distorted hotspot. I like to have a comboBox with the title of the video running.
Thanks again

I have a test page here (http://wirestam.com/panos/Flash/moviebox/mbtest2.html) with a <box> hotspot - just to show it can be done.

I am working on a player, i'll let you know when it'll be ready, right now I am having some troubles making it communicate with the pano Player.
Here an overview, it isn't yet working properly, so be patient :D...

Well it is still under development, i am trying hard to make a localConnection but so far I am no succeeding. To check the video player you have to click on Video.
About the vibration, could you be more specific?

Thank you guys, maybe i should start a new thread, i don't want to be steeling Tommy's "movieBox pluging", thread. I like that plug-in, and probably would find some use in the future.

Hi Tommy,
why in the test page with <box> I see only two videos?
it is possible to have volume control customizable plugin?
It is possible to download the plugins?
Thanks in advance

Hi Bruno,
well, that moviebox is controlled by its own xml file, and I only have two movie entries in that file.
The volume control is just my little private toy, and not really ment to be published. And there is no way to customize it, at least not for the time being.
I havn't uploaded the moviebox plugin yet, because i don't consider it to be ready. There are some difficulties in getting the video, the mask and the overlay into the right places without upsetting the hotspot alignment. I havn't solved that in a satisfactory manner yet.

I like the idea Tommy, the mask and the overlay give an very interesting potential! It could be used to bring life into a pano, other than 'playing a video' if you understand what I mean. I see a real burning fire place or traffic passing outside, just to name a few.
Hope you can work it out and I'll keep my fingers crossed :)
Grtz, Ton
As you can use blending with flv player, the fireplace is not problem now either. Just add - blendMode="screen" to code. It will remove dark areas from movie.

Ton (other FFC users) you can play with videos and the blend mode control options found in the "Hotspots2" tab, under the "Opacity" slider, you can further play with it using the background colours... or simply have it in the transparent mode. Some nice effects can be made.
