Here it is. In short Pan based interaction with spots.

There is a more complete description on my website and the documentation that comes with the plugin goes into even more detail. Basically the plugin lets you interact with spot or box objects based on whether the viewer is looking at them as opposed to mousing over. This includes floating spots or as in the demo, box objects warped to fit onto pano faces. Originally I intended the plugin to enable simple animations, but as I got into it I added the ability to interact with the spots as buttons and to swap spots mid pano. The final feature set is below.

The demo files below are included with the purchased plugin (all the files except pano.swf or course).

* Customize fade and full alpha range via parameters
* Define multiple dynamic spot/box sets and change on the fly between them
* Load unique spots sets for each pano with new params
* Full use of spot functions and roll over effects by pausing plugin
* Reveal all spots call
* Hide all spots call

In the demo XML all the plugin calls and params are used to display the functionality, and I've included a pdf which explains everything in more depth, including my process for creating the box spots and lining them up to the pano.

Hopefully this gives people a handy tool for providing some unique interaction. Links to the plugin and demo are below.

Zoetrope Readme PDF (http://www.redshift-blueshift.com/Zoetrope_ReadMe.pdf) It's wordy I know, but it will give you some deeper insight into the plugin's functionality, especially the magic involved in lining up box spots to your pano faces.

Here are two recent examples posted using the plugin:

Paddy2a's example (http://www.mestrucsamoi.com/)

izoneguy's example (plugin used in bedroom pano) (http://cuial.com/mhsrv_panos/may_01/mhsrv.html)

** The plugin is pretty robust as it is, and I haven't had a need to update it, however there was a request to support .swf spots which I'll look into. Updates are free and will be emailed to you automatically on release.

Cheers,
Duncan
