Is possible that speed of the pano (in FPS) is much better offline than online (on the same pc)?

Is what i thought, until yesterday when i was able to verify, with the same PC, that the same virtual tour running much better offline that online... I don't understand why, but it would be interesting to know...
Is with a notebook of my friend, with my PC instead (which is more powerful) there is no difference.
