Good morning all FPP users and developers.

I have been using this product for about a year now and I cannot tell you how good it is. This is the best thing since sliced bread. This forum and its participants are the best around. Tuddi, if you're reading this, that Flashificator is simply incredible - what a time saver.

My projects do not get too complicated and I regularly use navigation, pull downs and embed video into my work. I do however, create a lot of print material for my clients and usually distribute pdfs to them. I have always been able to embed Quicktime VR movies into pdfs but that was always a pain since the client needed Quicktime installed to see them.

With the release of Acrobat 9, I now work in a new world. I have successfully embedded VR swfs into pdfs and they work fine with the built-in support for Flash in Acrobat 9.

Now I have tried to take this one step further and embed FPP into a pdf. I tried several times to get this to work but have gotten two types of results:

1. "Buffering" message from Acrobat 9 or
2. Panorama "Failed to Load" message

Using the advanced tab when embedding Flash, you can add files and/or directores of files to go into the pdf as well. I did all this and set some Flash vars. All no success.

Big question is: "Has Anyone Else Tried This Yet?"

If so, can you shed a little light on my issues? I have to be doing something wrong here.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for kind words.

I do however have a very different view on how much time is saved by Flashificator ... these days.

... In the past one week I have got no more than around 3 hours sleep per day due to the work being put into the program. So a "time saver" .... not on this end ... not now!

I only have Acrobat 8, so I can not do any testing to confirm or denounce problematic embedding of panos to PDF's.

Hi, I was wondering whether you had any success in getting fpp to work in acrobat 9.0.

I have also been very successful getting other swf files embedded into acrobat 9.0, but keep getting the "loading failed" response. I have other application that are using xml files to load parameters, and have no trouble with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have not reattempted thus far but will do so in the next few days. I'll keep this topic posted on the results.
