I am testing out some other panos I have to use in FPP. My problem is this I can get the pano to load only 5 of the 6 faces. The loader displays the message of "Loading Failed". The cubes faces are 2544 square. Is there a size limitation in FPP or flash for cubefaces. I had heard there is a limitation for strips but I didn't think that applied to cube faces.

Yes, there is a size limit in Flash for strips and cube faces.

HERE (http://flashpanoramas.com/forum/showthread.php?t=745)is a thread with the discussion and lots of needed numbers.

I have tested faces of up to 6602x6602 pixels and still loading all 6 faces, while it would fail on 6603x6603 pixels, and only show 5 faces.

I don't know why yours don't show, when they are much smaller in pixel size... unless it's hitting the real size limit Denis was on about.

Do you have an example online for us to check?

Thanks Tuddi

After reading your post I went back and checked my files and found one of the cube faces mis-named, dooh!

I had replaced the cube faces with others and it all worked so I replaced them with the originals and no work so thats when I found the naming error.

I am really new to this, scripting and such, I have been making VRs since 2000. QT used to be so much easier but there were a lot things I wanted to do that were harder in QT and now easier in Flash, although they take a lot more effort.

Thanks again!

Ok, that explains the 5 faces pretty well :)

Good you found the reason for it.

Regarding the extra effort in Flash... that is about to be history, when my "signature program" is released. Then there will be time for photographers to find clients and shoot photos, rather than to be swimming in code all the time.
